Establishing a Lead Generation Engine for Tagger Media’s Influencer Platform

Business Context

Tagger Media approached us to acquire more inbound demo requests for their Influencer Marketing platform. In an increasingly competitive environment, Tagger needed to build an evergreen lead generation engine to pull in marketing qualified leads (MQLs)

 

 

Establish Paid Search

We quickly went to work with a competitive audit and keyword research using several internal SEO tools we have at The Hand. By combining the quantitative research of finding highly searched keywords with qualitative insights of understanding how Tagger Media is different from their peers, we were able to deliver a +20% click-through rate right out of the gate. We continued to improve ad metrics metrics by optimizing bidding, budget optimization, removing irrelevant keyword searches, and launching iterative ad unit and copy tests.

Square Away Analytics Stack

We set up custom conversion events in Google Tag Manager for the Tagger team in order to properly track ‘request demo’ clicks. This ensured we were optimizing for marketing qualified leads (MQLs). Additionally, we set up and QA’ed pixels for paid social, Linkedin, & Google Display Network (GDN). retargeting campaigns.

 

 

Channel Expansion

Based on the success of paid search, we expanded the reach of our campaigns by retargeting website traffic across paid social and programmtic banners. This ensured that Tagger Media stayed top-of-mind for prospects who were considering using their platform for their next influencer campaign.
